In the New Testament, Shepherds or Elders, led and watched over a local congregation of God’s people (Acts 14:23; Acts 20:28;1 Peter 5:1-3). These are men who meet certain qualifications (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-7) and agree to serve in this important role. The Memorial church is blessed with five good men who devote much of their time to the needs of the flock.
